Here’s how much it will cost to enter Europe in 2024

by katem

U.S. citizens have been lucky in not having to have a visa to travel to Europe. The good news is we still won’t need one, but instead what the European Commission is calling a visa waiver, known as the European Travel Information and Authorisation System, shortened to ETIAS.

The new system means travelers from the U.S. and other countries including Australia, New Zealand, Great Britain and Canada will have to go through additional security checks and pay a small fee, seven euros for three years.

The system was set to start in November 2023 but has been delayed until 2024.
