A new Datz opened this week along Tampa’s Riverwalk near the Tampa Convention Center. The eatery offers doughnuts, hash browns, fruit, breakfast sandwiches and cocktails.
It’s a restart of a previous grab-and-go inside the convention center that closed during the pandemic, but this one has seating.
The restaurant is open 7:30-11:30 a.m. Tuesday through Sunday. Buyer beware: a breakfast sandwich will set you back $10, but vegans can rejoice with an animal-friendly option.
Cocktails include the “Datz-A-Mary,” mimosas and the “Morning Margarita” with tequila, orange juice, orange liqueur and lime — available to drink in designated cups.
