The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office conducted an undercover operation, rescuing two survivors from human trafficking.
One victim, barely 20, suffered months of abuse at the hands of Roannil Fentress, who lured her through a dating app, exploiting her vulnerabilities.
The other survivor endured 15 years of violence and control. Both traffickers were apprehended, and the survivors are receiving the support they need and deserve after suffering harrowing conditions.
The Sheriff’s Office is dedicated to ending human trafficking and urges the community to report suspicions or information. Together, we can save lives and also bring justice to exploited human trafficking victims.
