Navy brings divers, band to town for Navy Week

The Tampa Bay area will host Navy Week, which brings Navy personnel to cities throughout the country to raise awareness about the Navy and its mission, in mid-May.

Dozens of Navy personnel will take part in more than 50 outreach and community service events May 7-13.

Some highlights:

– May 7: Kickoff with local mayors on the American Victory Ship.

– May 8: Navy dive team plunges into The Florida Aquarium’s largest habitat.

– May 9: Navy Band Southeast performs at Rays v. Braves game.

The week culminates with Tampa Bay AirFest at MacDill. Find the entire list of events here.
