The Bazaar on Apricot & Lime uses social media innovation to boost business and support local art

With National Small Business Week running from April 30-May 6, one small business in Sarasota is more than just a small business. The Bazaar on Apricot & Lime created a market for local artists in Sarasota to sell their goods and engage with their customers.

Kim Livengood runs the business with her mother and has elevated local artists using a unique strategy: a Facebook Live marketplace. Titled the “Bazaar Shopping Network,” the tool helps Kim reach customers across the country while elevating local artists.
