Pasco County is the soon-to-be home of the nation’s first Crystal Lagoon — a 7.5-acre aquatic amenity featuring clear blue waters for swimming, kayaking and a range of other activities.
Metro Development Group, the key developer behind Pasco County’s Connected City, has officially started construction on the man-made lagoon. The lagoon will stretch as far as six football fields and will be as deep as 10-12 feet in some areas.
The amenity will be part of the Connected City’s first residential community, called Epperson. It is expected to be completed in spring of next year.
