William Gholston, the Tampa Bay Buc’s veteran defensive lineman and the second-longest tenured player, is the team’s nominee for the 2022 NFL Man of the Year Award.
The award is considered a top honor in professional American football and recognizes a player that excels on and off the field, including through community service.
Gholston frequently donates Thanksgiving meals to families in need has donated $225,000 to Moffitt Cancer Center to support cancer research. His mom is a breast cancer survivor and he lost his father to cancer. He also runs a program that provides NFL game day experiences for non-profits.
