The Bucs appeared to be headed for a classic Tom Brady comeback Sunday against Green Bay until they weren’t.
Brady’s touchdown pass with 18 seconds left pulled Tampa Bay within two points of the Packers.
But they couldn’t get set for the two-point conversion attempt and took a delay penalty. And then Brady’s pass to Russell Gage fell incomplete, and the Bucs trudged off the field with a 14-12 loss.
“We’re not running as good as we’re capable. That passing game hasn’t been very good,” Brady said.
The passing game was severely hampered by injuries and Mike Evans‘ one-game suspension.
