Champa Bay Bucs host first mini-camp

The defending Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers held their first mini-camp of the new season. All 89 players reported, although six sat out due to injuries.

Head Coach Bruce Arians was pleased with what he saw — or, rather, didn’t see. There was no complacency. “That was the first thing I was looking for today, and I didn’t see any,” Arians said. “Our guys know how to work, so I really don’t have to say anything.”

Also, rookie quarterback Kyle T rask signed his contract. The Bucs took the University of Florida product in the second round of the draft.
