Flu season has already begun, but it may take more than drinking orange juice to stay healthy this season.
To start, make sure you’re eating foods with plenty of protein, which helps to produce immune cells. Foods packed with vitamins C and E, such as broccoli, green peppers and almonds, also help support your immune system.
It’s also a good idea to minimize daily stress, if possible, and get plenty of exercise without overworking your body. If you do start to feel sick, a hot shower to inhale steam could reduce the spread of viruses in your upper respiratory tract.
