Renowned chef and restaurateur Ferran Adria began changing the landscape of gastronomy in the early 1980s at his famous restaurant El Bulli on Spain’s Costa Brava, not far from the art studio of Surrealist Salvador Dalí.
A new exhibit “Ferran Adria: The Invention of Food” places images of Adria’s avant-garde culinary creations and their inspirations paired with food-inspired paintings and flatware designed by Dalí.
View Adria’s creative notebooks that detail his innovative thinking, and see his designs for tableware and serveware. The exhibit is on display now through Nov. 27 at The Dalí Museum in downtown St. Petersburg.
