Smith & Associates Real Estate Foundation has made a long-term commitment to the Tampa arts community with a three-year commitment to fund the Tampa Arts Alliance, which was formed in June 2021.
Initial funding was provided by The Gobioff Foundation and Tucker Hall, and the new commitment from the foundation will fund operating expenses and the executive director’s salary.
The Alliance has had five town hall meetings around Tampa to hear from artists, arts leaders and arts enthusiasts, resulting in recommendations for how the Alliance can add value to Tampa’s arts scene.
The recommendations will be used to establish a strategic plan.
