Mayor Jane Castor to host ‘Boom by the Bay’ July 4th

Mayor Jane Castor’s Boom by the Bay, powered by TECO, will be Tampa’s premier Fourth of July celebration, including the largest-ever fireworks display along Bayshore Boulevard.

The Bayshore Boulevard fireworks display will start at 7 p.m. south of the Davis Islands Bridge. The event will have food trucks, live entertainment and waterfront views of fireworks.

Earlier at 11 a.m., Sparkman Wharf will host a water ski show, live music, food, drinks and fireworks along the waterfront.

Then at 3 p.m., Armature Works will have live music, a hot dog eating competition, a kid zone and waterfront fireworks.
