A local PR pro and his daughters put their heads together to bring Comic Con to St. Petersburg. The celebration of all things comics – including the chance to dress in character – will take place Jan. 8-9 at the Coliseum in downtown.
Tickets start at $20 per person for single-day entry or $30 per person for both days. VIP tickets are $100.
Ticket pre-sales are going well, according to organizer Dewey Caruthers. He expects to sell about 1,500 tickets.
Caruthers said he invested significantly in the event, but didn’t disclose how much. He also secured a sponsorship from I Love the Burg.
