Gov. Ron DeSantis has appointed Rogan Donelly to the University of South Florida Board of Trustees.

Donelly will replace USF’s longest-serving trustee John Ramil, who has been on the board since it was first created in 2001. Donelly, who is from Sarasota, is the president and CEO of Tervis Tumbler Company. He serves on the Board of Trustees of Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium, as well as the Gulfside Bank Board of Directors.

Donelly, who earned his master’s degree in business administration from USF, was the 2020 recipient of the university’s Outstanding Alumni Award.

His appointment is subject to Senate confirmation.
