After taking last year off due to the COVID-19 pandemic, fireworks and other festivities will return to the St. Pete Pier this year.
Events kick off July 2 with food, music, and a movie on the downtown attraction’s tilted lawn. Also featured are a 4K run, Silent Disco Nights, a health expo, food trucks and musical performances.
Celebrations culminate July 4 with a waterfront fireworks show at 9 p.m.
It’s the first Fourth of July Celebration at the new pier since opening last July after the Independence Day holiday. The fireworks event is free and open to the public.
