The St. Pete Pride festivities are a reunion of sorts for Miguel Fuller. Fuller, co-host of “Miguel and Holly Mornings” on Hot 101.5, has been involved with the parade since 2015 and is hosting for a third year.
He’s noticed a larger sense of acceptance in recent years for the LGBTQ+ community. Because of that, events like Pride are able to raise more awareness of less visible groups like transgender people. He also admires the fact that the St. Petersburg city government is so supportive.
Fuller hosts the parade Saturday, June 22, alongside his show’s producer, Scott Tavlin.
