Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister and his office are celebrating the graduation of the largest class of deputies from the Sheriff’s Training Academy and largest single-agency class in Florida.
A record 48 cadets have been sworn in as deputies for HCSO.
“This is a momentous occasion for not only these 48 deputies but for the entire Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office,” Chronister said. “Since the inception of our Sheriff’s Training Academy in November 2021, we’ve seen 234 deputies graduate from our program, and the impressive size of this class shows Hillsborough County is a destination for the finest in law enforcement.”
