Students at Florida Polytechnic University in Lakeland have less of a cost burden than students at many other public universities throughout the U.S., according to a report from My eLearning World, an online resource for digital education.
It found that Florida Poly students work about 77% fewer hours on average than other students to pay for a year of tuition at a public university. The report found an average student must work 39 hours per week to pay for a year of tuition. For Florida Poly students, that work load is just nine hours per week at minimum wage.
