The Pagidipati family is bringing the world’s largest triceratops to the Glazer Children’s Museum this spring.
Big John, discovered in South Dakota’s Hell Creek geological formation, roamed the planet during the Late Cretaceous period more than 66 million years ago.
When the exhibit opens Memorial Day weekend, Big John will become the Tampa Bay area’s first-ever large fossilized dinosaur skeleton on long-term display.
The Glazer Children’s Museum will expand its public area to the third floor, where Big John and a new education center for camps and field trips will be. More information will be available on BigJohnDino.com soon.
