Wagamama to open first Florida location at Water Street Tampa

UK-based restaurant brand Wagamama will open its first Florida location at Water Street Tampa. The restaurant, which already has locations in Boston and NYC, offers Asian fusion dishes like noodle dishes, ramen and craft cocktails.

The store’s placement is on  the street level of apartment tower 1050 Water Street. It will have a a 4,200-square-foot space.  “With our fresh, flavorful cuisine and engaged, social atmosphere, Wagamama is ideally suited for the Tampa market,” said Richard Flaherty, co-CEO of Wagamama USA.

Water Street developer Strategic Property Partners announced the restaurant’s lease on Monday. The eatery is set to open in early 2022.
