The suffocating defense the Buccaneers displayed in their first three games was missing in action Sunday night against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Chiefs’ quarterback Patrick Mahomes shredded the Bucs for 249 yards and three touchdowns as Tampa Bay fell 41-31. It was the Bucs second consecutive loss, both at home.
“We didn’t play well,” Bucs Coach Todd Bowles said. “They did a good job, and they kicked our butts all over the field.”
Tom Brady threw for 385 yards and three touchdowns as the Bucs were in catch-up mode all night. They called only six running plays in the game.
