Rowdies headed home after big win at Phoenix

After a lengthy time away from the local pitch, the Rowdies will return to Al Lang Stadium on Saturday to play the Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC.

The team is coming off a smashing 5-1 win Sunday at Phoenix. It was the Rowdies’ first game since a 3-2 loss to San Diego on April 30.

Pittsburgh sits second in the Eastern Conference of the USL, while the Rowdies are in fifth place.

“Hopefully, the boys use that to boost their confidence. We know we play another top team next week that we know will be very, very difficult,” Rowdies Coach Neill Collins said.
