The Rowdies have hit a bump in the road – at least they hope it’s only a bump. They dropped their last two games, including a 3-2 home loss Saturday to San Diego Loyal SC.
The Rowdies led 2-1 against San Diego before giving up two goals in the final 15 minutes.
“We put ourselves in a position to win that game, credit to the team for that, but this is professional football,” Rowdies Coach Neill Collins said.
After playing five games in 15 days, Tampa Bay gets a needed break. The Rowdies don’t play again until May 15 at Phoenix.
