Bucs scramble to adjust to rash of injuries

by The 100 Companies

The Bucs will sign veteran running back Le’Veon Bell, pending his physical, after Leonard Fournette injured his hamstring during Sunday’s 9-0 loss to New Orleans.

Fournette and linebacker Lavonte David, who injured his foot, are not expected to play in the final three regular-season games, but could return for the playoffs.

It remains unclear how long receiver Mike Evans, who injured his hamstring, will be out, but it’s possible he could return before the playoffs.

The team placed receiver Chris Godwin, who has a torn ACL, and defensive lineman Patrick O’Connor, who hurt his knee, on the team’s injured reserve.
