Running back Leonard Fournette’s nickname is “Playoff Lenny” for his prowess in the post-season, but he showed Sunday he can bring it in regular season, too.
Fournette’s fourth touchdown of the game, a 28-yard run with 20 seconds left, gave the Buccaneers the margin they needed to win at Indianapolis, 38-31.
The Bucs trailed by 10 points at halftime but forced two turnovers and recovered a muffed punt return in the second half. “We just stuck together,” said tight end Rob Gronkowski.
They improved to 8-3, creating a three-game lead over the New Orleans Saints and Atlanta in NFC South.
