Bucs quarterback Tom Brady has said that he “should be fine” for the team’s upcoming game Thursday in Philadelphia after hurting his right thumb last weekend in Miami.
Brady banged his right thumb on the helmet of a Miami Dolphins pass-rusher in the second quarter of Sunday’s game. Brady was able to continue, throwing three more touchdowns, leading the Bucs to a 45-17 victory.
“It’s more of discomfort but I think that should be fine in the next day or two,” Brady said in a statement. “I think it’s just a little bit sore, but I’d expect it to be.”
