Flipping the calendar to July means it won’t be long until the Super Bowl champion Buccaneers begin to defend their title.
They report to training camp on July 24, earlier than most teams because the Bucs’ first regular-season game is Thursday, Sept. 9 against Dallas. That game officially kicks off the NFL season.
The Bucs open their three-game exhibition season on Aug. 14 against the Cincinnati Bengals. When the NFL expanded the regular season to 17 games, it reduced the preseason from four games to three.
You’ll have to scour around to find tickets. All home games are sold out.
