Charlie Crist has waged plenty of comebacks – he lost a race for U.S. Senate in 2010, a race for the Governor’s mansion in 2014 and his first bid for Congress before securing victory in 2016.
But it’s hard to imagine a comeback after his latest 20-point walloping from Gov. Ron DeSantis. Yet Crist seems to have the sort of staying power that implies he may have a political afterlife.
While it may not be a return to office (an Anna Paulina Luna rematch, maybe?), he may still have sway within the Democratic Party or within the world of political punditry.
