As Republicans pursue their conservative agenda this Session, Senate Democratic Leader Jason Pizzo is urging them to not lose track of Floridians’ critical needs.
Responding to Gov. Ron DeSantis’ State of the State address, the Hollywood lawmaker said that Democrats have filed many proposals to address Florida’s economy, housing costs, education and resilience, and all deserve nonpartisan consideration.
“I hold out faith in the decency of our members,” he said, “that their call to service, once rooted in amplifying the voices of struggling families (and) small businesses … will ring out louder than the disruptive and divisive whispers of special interests.”
