Getting employees’ attention during their busy work day is hard. Getting them to exercise at work? Even harder.
Or maybe not, according to Corporate Fitness Works (CFW), which runs on-site fitness centers for companies. “Pop Up Classes” – flash mob-style workouts or stretch breaks that encourage employees to join group fitness activities – are all the rage at CFW’s client sites.
The CFW team even brings “Pop Up Classes” directly to department meetings, livening up what might otherwise be boring get-togethers. CFW has found that out-of-the-norm techniques like these are critical in increasing fitness participation rates.
