‘U Drive. U Text. U Pay.’

The “U Drive – U Text – U Pay” campaign brings awareness to the dangers of distracted driving. In Florida, there are two proposed bills that would make texting while driving a primary offense, meaning you could be pulled over for it.

Stay safe while driving with these tips:

– Pull over and park your car in a safe location if you’re expecting a text or need to send one.

– Designate your passenger as your “designated texter.”

– Use the “do not disturb while driving” function, if available.

Break the distracted driving habit by using hands-free functions like Bluetooth or talk-to-text.
