More and more workplaces are allowing pets, with the idea they create more of a family atmosphere. If your workplace allows furry friends, here are a few tips you should consider:
– Come prepared with a food bowl, a blanket, a favorite chew toy and treats to keep him/her occupied.
– Dog proof your workplace. Make sure to consider electrical cords, markers, plants or anything your pet could potentially chew on.
– Break up the workday. Squeeze in a couple 10-minute breaks to allow your pet some fresh air and exercise, or plan to have lunch at a pet-friendly restaurant.
