Tampa’s best Cuban sandwich

Michelle Faedo, a well-known part of the Tampa food scene, has moved from a food truck to open a brick-and-mortar restaurant, Michelle Faedo’s Tampeño Cuisine.

The Cuban sandwich is Tampa’s most famous food, and many restaurants claim to make the best one. Faedo’s Cuban sandwich should be in the conversation, though, winning multiple local and national awards. Also worth ordering: the devil crab, ham croquettes and mac n’ cheese bites. And a cafe con leche is the perfect way to end the Tampeño experience.

Faedo’s restaurant is in the Encore complex, between downtown and Ybor City.
