Get ready to wear your dancing shoes: the Tampa Museum of Art is holding a Silent Disco. Silent Discos are parties where each participant gets headphones and chooses between different DJ channels. Everyone is dancing to the beat of their own music, but if the headphones come off, there’s no music at all.
A silent disco can be better than a traditional dance party, with higher quality sound, less pressure to dance “correctly” and more freedom to choose your own music.
The TMA event is Saturday, Aug. 17. Visit the museum site to buy tickets and food and drink packages.
