Hot (or not so hot) off one of Tampa Bay’s warmest winters on record, individuals were treated over Memorial Day weekend to below average temperatures, making it plenty warm to enjoy the beach but not so hot one longed for the AC.
The average temperature on Sunday was just under 76, according to Weather Underground, more than 5-degrees cooler than the historic average for that day.
But the moment’s over as residents prepare for bad weather. The National Weather Service is watching a tropical disturbance in the Gulf that could bring heavy rains and strong gusts to Florida this weekend.
