Best wings in Tampa Bay. Really.

When my dad said he found “the best wing spot” in Florida, I was skeptical.

He took me to the Bay Pines area in St. Petersburg to Tikanis, a hole-in-the-wall wing and pizza joint. They serve fresh pizza and craft beer, but their main attraction is wings. They’re fried and tossed in your choice of sauce – from lemon pepper to Jamaican jerk – then flame broiled, which gives them a unique flavor and keeps them steaming until you finish the last one.

Garlic parmesan was by far my favorite flavor. My dad was right – best wings in town.
