The Tampa Bay Lightning made the most of the franchise’s first appearance in the NHL’s outdoor Stadium Series, defeating Nashville 3-2 before 68,619 fans.

The team overcame a 1-0 deficit with goals from Nikita Kucherov, Brayden Point and Steven Stamkos.

They are back home for three games in four days starting Tuesday against Ottawa, followed by Pittsburgh on Thursday and on Friday. After that, however, they head back on the road for nine of their next 10 games.

Tampa Bay sits in second place in the Atlantic Division, one point behind the Florida Panthers and two points up on Toronto.
