Movies in the Park returns

Preserve the ‘Burg’s popular Movies in the Park is back. Each Thursday night, enjoy a free movie in downtown St. Petersburg’s North Straub Park.

The movie lineup includes:

Oct. 4 – “Mr. Smith Goes to Washington”

Oct. 11 – “Clueless”

Oct. 18 – “Hidden Figures”

Oct. 25 – “Hocus Pocus” (Halloween costumes encouraged)

Movies start when it’s dark, but arrive early to reserve your seat and enjoy live music. Bring a blanket or a low chair, along with refreshments. Food and drinks are also available from vendors at the park.

New this year: Free rides from downtown locations with The Nickel Ride taxi service.
