Next week, thousands of people will descend on downtown St. Petersburg for St. Pete Pride’s 2018 Pride Weekend. There are plenty of events to attend, all leading up to this year’s Pride Parade on Saturday, June 23.
Three things to know about Pride Weekend:
– A free artist’s zone, in Straub Park, will feature a mural where attendees can write a love-themed message.
– A new area, also in Straub Park, will have free kids’ activities in the “Great Ex area,” including storytime and science activities.
– For good parade seats, buy tickets for the The Glamstands or Bleachers by the Bay.
