USF Brewing Arts program teams with Yuengling to enhance industry diversity

by The 100 Companies

USF, in partnership with D.G. Yuengling & Son, America’s Oldest Brewery, has opened applications for its $5,000 Diversity in Brewing Scholarship.

The award will be given to an individual from a traditionally underrepresented community, and will cover the cost of tuition for USF St. Pete’s Brewing Arts Certificate program for the upcoming spring semester.

The Brewing Arts program is a collaboration between USF’s College of Arts and Sciences and several local and national breweries. The online program, started in 2015, is designed for brewers, from hobbyists to enthusiasts, looking to make a career in the industry.
