Tampa Downtown Partnership has named Kenyetta Bridges its new President and CEO, citing her experience tackling tough challenges, spurring downtown growth and collaborating effectively with stakeholders.
Bridges served the Detroit Economic Growth Corp. for nearly 20 years as part of the leadership team overseeing revitalization of Detroit, including $3.8 billion in downtown investment over the past five years, which led to about 10,000 new jobs, new entertainment spaces and more affordable housing.
“Ms. Bridges brings experience that can elevate the Partnership as a partner in planning and executing Downtown growth,” Search Committee Chair Stephen Panzarino said.
Bridges begins Monday, July 1.
