Florida Polytechnic University in Lakeland has been ranked the top public college in the Southeastern U.S. for the second year in a row, according to U.S. News and World Report rankings.
The rankings also put Florida Poly among the top 30 public engineering programs without a Ph.D. program, at No. 28.
Both rankings are for the 2022-23 school year.
Florida Poly also ranked as the best college in the region for veterans, the second-best for least student debt and in the top 30 among value schools when factoring academic quality and cost after total expenses and financial aid.
