You’ve heard of craft beer, well make room for craft hot dogs. That’s what’s on offer at JoDog, a new street food joint at Sparkman Wharf in downtown’s Water Street Tampa.
The new concept, which opened last week, puts a swanky spin on an American classic, with offerings like the Hello Tokyo with kewpie mayonnaise, furikake and crispy garlic; a spicy Mexico City dog; and the Carolina slaw dog.
The concept comes from Michelin-starred chef Joe Isidori, who is also known for his national restaurant chain Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer and JoToro, another of Isidori’s creations at Sparkman Wharf.
