A new shopping center made of shipping containers is set to open in Wesley Chapel this Saturday.
The open air mall, called “Krate,” will be one of the largest container parks in the country, with a maze of 90 colorful shipping containers offering 55 shops, offices and restaurants. The venue, which is within the Grove strip mall, also has a large stage for performances, as well as a playground for children.
At the grand opening Saturday, the mall will open about two-thirds of the shops that are ready for the public. The remainder are set to open throughout the summer.
