Tampa General wasted no time in checking off its New Year’s resolutions. The leading nonprofit medical center announced this week an expanded network of radiology services.
TGH recently purchased Tower Radiology, incorporating 21 imaging centers that span the Tampa Bay and the Palm Beach region. Tampa General will now offer 83 outpatient sites.
“Having sole ownership of Tower Radiology will enable Tampa General to provide an even higher level of coordinated, world-class care,” said TGH CEO John Couris.
TGH expects the addition to increase access to specialized radiology services, and drive down cost while enhancing care provided to its patients.
