Bucs look forward to bye week after New Orleans loss

Following their 36-27 loss Sunday at New Orleans, the Buccaneers are able to look forward to this weekend’s bye break.

The Bucs were uncharacteristically sloppy against the Saints last Sunday. They had 11 penalties for 99 yards, and quarterback Tom Brady had three turnovers—two interceptions and a fumble.

“That was an embarrassing display of football,” Bucs coach Bruce Arians said.

The Bucs, now 6-2, have lost six consecutive regular-season games against the Saints. They return to action on Nov. 14 at Washington. After that, the Bucs will be featured on Monday Night Football against the New York Giants on Nov. 22.
