The Crisis Center of Tampa Bay is opening its second rape crisis location in Hillsborough County in August at the Hillsborough County South Shore Community Resource Center.
The center will provide services currently only offered at the Center’s facility in North Tampa.
The location will also provide rape kits to help prosecute sexual assault cases.
“South County has seen a dramatic population boom and it has a population that is underserved when it comes to crisis intervention services. We look forward to creating an effortless experience for people to connect to support,” said Crisis Center President and CEO Clara Reynolds.
