Last week, Visit Mexico USA announced it would partner with a Tampa Bay company to confirm the COVID-19 health status of those traveling to Mexico.
“As borders continue to open up and tourism picks up, there is an increased need for health monitoring to protect the safety of both passengers and the country-at-large,” said USHealthPass President and Chairman of the Visit México Health Board Peter Gallic.
The MyPassID app includes verified COVID-19 vaccine credentials, COVID-19 symptom/contact tracing, thermal imaging and biometric screening. Anyone can use the app, regardless of whether they are vaccinated, have recovered from COVID-19 or are asymptomatic.
