USF touchdowns have new meaning

by

University of South Florida football fans have another reason to celebrate when the Bulls reach the end zone at home this season.

For every Bulls touchdown scored at Raymond James Stadium, Valley National Bank and the USF Foundation will recognize a scholarship for a first-generation USF student who’s a U.S. military veteran.

Valley, the season-presenting sponsor of USF football, wanted to do more than just display their brand. The result: the “Valley for Veterans” program, which will give a total of $75,000 in scholarships throughout the season. Now, touchdowns will have a new level of significance.
